Sabine has a rare combination of skills. She understands both business and HR. This gives her the ability to work with virtually everyone and to speak their language.
Sabine spent a decade in financial services focusing on sales before moving into HR in international companies. “I am interested in people and wanted to spend more time working on the people side of the business. HR can drive business success. You need to recruit the right people, into the right teams and then you can see performance take off.”
Using HR tools to develop business means Sabine can help managers and leaders get the best from their people. Sabine gets excited about working with groups and individuals. Developing leaders and managers and helping them develop the skills and approaches to create strong team performance is what she does best. “When you create the right conditions in the team and get the right people working there, team performance becomes something special.”
Sabine’s has seen clients receive high return on investment when they help their people to keep the learning going. “When you have a long-term programme encouraging people to keep learning and put that learning back into their work and teams, everyone benefits. It may feel like a luxury to keep learning going but these skills mean the business has resilience and agility. When you help your people to learn and apply their learning, they stay with you because they believe in your business.”
Living between the city and the country gives Sabine the best of both worlds. She loves to hike and ski and also loves soaking up the culture of the city. “I am most at home when I’m growing things. Whether it is a plant in my garden or helping a person to grow at work, seeing that growth and development is what I love best.”
